Training:
Began studying percussion at the age of 6, at the national conservatory of Nice with Rodolphe Palumbo.
Began studying the piano at the age of 10.
1987:first prize in percussion, sight-reading and ear training at the conservatory of Nice.
1988: National Conservatory of Versailles.
Lessons in harmony, organ studies with Georges Robert and first prize in percussion studied with Sylvio Gualda.
1989-90: Honor+ Perfection prizes at the conservatory of Versailles.
1991-93: Higher studies Diploma from the Music high school of Freeburg in Germany. Studied with Bernhardt Wulff, Taijiro Miyazaki and Robert Van Sice
1995: Soloist degree at the Music high school in Freeburg.


Soloist activities:
Recitals: France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the Ukraine, Mongolia and South America (Argentina, Uruguay and Chile).
Close collaboration with numerous composers, creators of many pieces for percussion namely: 1995: the concerto "Battements" by the Swiss composer Hans Ulrich Lehmann with the Basel radio symphony orchestra, 1998: the piece "Pakikisama" for 20 musicians and percussion soloist by the Philipino composer Alan Hilario created with the ensemble "Musik der Jahrunderte" of Stuttgart.
Recordings for the radio: the RDS in Switzerland, the WDR, HR. SWR in Germany, the ORF in Austria, Radio France, the RAI in Italy, the BBC in Great Britain¡K. and for CD¡¦s: BMG-RCA, ECM, Wergo, with namely the creation of the solo piece "Trema I-II-III" by Claus Stephen Mahnkopf.

June 2005 Concerts: Buffalo, New York State USA with the vibraphone solo by Philippe Manoury, Freeburg, Germany with the piece entitled "Pakikisama" for an ensemble and percussion solo by Alan Hilario.
April 2006 creation of the concerto for percussion and orchestra by the German composer Johannes Schöllhorn with the orchestra of the "Basel Sinfonieta". Concerts in Bern and Basel in Switzerland and Freeburg in Germany.


Chamber Music activities :
Since 1995, regular participation with the Modern Ensemble of Frankfurt and the Klangforum of Vienna. Performances throughout the world: Royal Albert Hall and the Barbican center in London, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Philharmonica of Cologne and Berlin, Lincoln Center in New York, the Music festival of Perth¡K conducted by prestigious conductors like George Benjamin, Pierre Boulez, Peter Eötvös, Heinz Holliger, Zoltan Kocsis, Kent Nagano, Peter Rundel, Hans Zender...
Member of the contemporary music ensemble "Surplus" conducted by James Avery. Concerts: the Biennale of Munich, Maerz music of Berlin, the festival of Zurich, the theatre of Vevey, the villa Medicis in Rome, The Wien modern festival¡K
August 1998 soloist of Xylorimba in the opera by Olivier Messiaen, Saint Francis of Assisi at the Festival of Salzburg conducted by Kent Nagano.
2002 European tour (Amsterdam, Berlin, Lisboan, London, Paris, Vienna) with the American composer Steve Reich and the Modern Ensemble for the creation of the opera "Three Tales".
January 2004 concerts in Taipei (concert Hall and national theatre) with the Modern Ensemble of Frankfurt; programmes Zappa, Schöenberg, Lachenmann.
November 2005: Concert Zappa "The adventures of Gregory Peccary" and others with the Modern Ensemble at the Festspielhaus of Baden-Baden in Germany.



Teaching Experience :
1995: Teaching certificate in percussion.
Since 1996: honorary teacher of marimba and vibraphone at the Music high school in Freeburg in Germany.
Between 1997 and 2000: Master class at the Musikhochschule of Hannover in Germany, Master class on the contemporary repertory of percussion at the conservatory of Odessa in the Ukraine and of Buenos Aires in Argentina.
Since June 2005: Percussion teacher at the Music high school of Neuchâtel, la Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland.
